LG엔솔 채택한 이트론55 배터리 전면 교체 공식 확정 본문
아우디 이트론55의 220V 충전케이블 리콜에 대해서는

그런데 미국에서 또 다른 결정이 나왔는데,
초기 아우디 이트론55 차량의 배터리 중
LG에너지솔루션(LG엔솔) 제품을 사용한 차량에 대해서
배터리 전체 교체라는 리콜 조치가 확정된 것.
문제가 된 것은 E61V 배터리 모듈로,
아주 드물게 화재가 발생할 수 있어서 통째 교체라고.
그리고 일단 교체 대상으로 확인되면 충전 최대량이 80%로 강제 제한된다고 함.
(다만 이 것은 OTA가 되는 차량에 한해 조치를 내리겠지.)
대상은 미국에서 판매된 2.7만대 정도인데,
설명을 보면, 2019년 1월부터 2022년 3월까지 벨기에 공장에서 생산된 이트론이다.
Based on the MLB Evo platform rather than an EV-specific architecture, the Audi e-tron and its better-looking brother have been hit with a recall. An estimated 26,866 vehicles produced for the 2019 through 2022 model years are equipped with LG Energy Solution E61V battery modules that – in certain scenarios – may overheat and catch fire.
Volkswagen Group of America reports that a small number of e-tron electric vehicles experienced thermal overload that resulted in smoke or fire from underneath the vehicle. However, the German automaker hasn't determined the root cause for this overheating condition. The risk, however, is associated with battery modules exhibiting a critical self-discharge behavior. Affected vehicles were manufactured between January 3, 2019 and March 11, 2022 at the Audi Brussels facility in Belgium.

Audi is recalling nearly 27,000 E-Tron Quattro and E-Tron Sportback Quattro SUVs made before March 11, 2022 because their battery modules may overheat and catch fire.

국내의 경우도 그 동안 LG 배터리를 사용한 벨기에 차량이 전량 수입되고 있었는데,
동일한 조건이면 국내에서도 리콜이 될 가능성이 거의 확실시된다.
새 배터리 교체 각이라는 거지.

싹 뜯어보니! 이트론55의 배터리는 진짜 어떻게 생긴걸까
아우디 이트론55의 배터리팩은 바닥에 쫘악 깔려 있는데, 95kWh다. (이트론50은 71kWh) 36개 모듈로 구성 각 모듈에는 12개 파우치 형 셀이 탑재 이트론55 출시 초기엔 LG화학 배터리를 썼다고 했는데,

암튼 조만 간에 국내서도 배터리 교체 이슈가 터질텐데,
국내 판매량을 감안하고, 통째 교환이라는 걸 고려하면,
꽤 장기간을 고려해서 진행하지 않을까 싶다.

압력/온도 센서 리콜, (국내 공식 확정)
220V케이블 리콜, (미국)
배터리팩 불량 리콜 (미국) 등이 밀려 있다.
이제야 좀 정리가 되는 느낌이다.
덧) 리콜 대상이 2022년 3월 이전이니까,
국내 수입된 2023년식은 해당이 없을 듯.
